# 30 Take a Load off Our Drives

I often use P : drive to keep my training hours.
In this training I learned about  Z : drive and S : drive,
it was very helpful information to know the purpose of using different drives to keep  a file accordingly. I now have more understanding how each branch or department to store communal files. Another helpful information was how you can burn files to CD.  Instructions from Microsoft was easy to follow steps. I haven't done this myself yet, but it's my next project to work on.
Online photo storage such as Flickr, Photobucket, Imageshack were interesting, but I did not feel comfortable using them. I prefer photos and other personal files be saved to disc, or put on a personal USB drive.

# 29 : E-mail

I went through my inbox and deleted my old messages and spam, then i emptied the trash.
I wasn't sure how to save the attachment...I'm still working on it.
My email filing system is up-to-date, and clutter free.
 Thanks.

Spring Cleaning # 28 Don't Clutter Up Expensive Cyberspace

GTD was interesting to read and a helpful hint that was there to guide me through organizing my emails.
First of all ,  I already knew the concept or what I was suppose to do with my information , but since I do not receive or send many emails, it was enough for me to manage just using delete or kept them in the inbox to review for later use.  This time I created folders ... and I sent them to the files as I received new mails. I also kept in my mind to delete them  if I didn't need any more or reply them as soon as possible if it's necessary.
It's actually a lot more faster and neat than before.  It totally makes sense "Spend more time doing than organizing".

Another exercise that was the most useful to me was "Ta-da List" , I create an account with Yahoo and made a to do list on using Ta-da List and send to my own email and save to the file as a Ta-da List.  Well, I am not sure if I did this right , but it is working just like "Sticky Note" I used on my apple i-mac at home. It's pretty fun!

Over all, this exercise helped me to see things differently and i actually did and organized more quickly than before. Thanks.

Be Safe! Have Fun!

I should feel more comfortable writing posts for my blog that I feel confident in sharing.
I have gained little more knowledge reading through the materials to study for this week.
Millions of people go on line everyday, and most are safe. (??? I hope so!) The way to stay safer is to understand the danger and follow some simple rules. OK! I got that.
I personally doesn't like to do anything on line. I don't do e-bay or on line shopping simply because I have to give my personal information. I certainly do not do chat rooms or sign up web sites requires sharing my identity, but nowadays you can't ignore the on line world. So it came to my conclusion...."Face It...Learn , Participate, and live with it...". I still can't ignore the fear I have about the other side of the world who I'm dealing with, but practice surf safer in mind I can explore more and enjoy the great benefit from it.(Yes, I should!)
Well, I learned a lot for this week about Internet safety. Now I'm little bit more comfortable, I'm looking forward to learn how to use web cams, microphones, and digital cameras allow me to post videos, photos, and audio files online and engage in video conversations. Can I really do all that??? Wow It will be great! good luck to me.

Slide Show week 1

Slide Show was really helpful. Thanks to iHCPL.
I'm already motivated and exciting about learning more. Most helpful hint was " Set a goal",I need work on it. I ought to remind myself often those important messages from the slide show. Laugh! OK! I can do it easily.
Technology is my weakest subject, but I'm willing to clear a path to knowledge. I guess I must give myself more credit and keep trying.
Thanks.
